Constructed Awareness® Clinical Consultation

Individual Consultation for Mental Health Professionals

As the creator of Constructed Awareness® (CA), I offer individual clinical consultation for mental health professionals interested in deepening their understanding of the model and exploring its integration into their therapeutic work.

Whether you're beginning to explore CA or have completed training and are incorporating the model into your clinical practice, consultation offers a space for curiosity, reflection, and collaborative exploration.

A Collaborative Approach to Clinical Consultation

Clinical consultation offers an opportunity to reflect on your therapeutic work, explore questions arising in practice, and deepen your understanding of how awareness can support the therapeutic process.

Our work together is guided by your professional interests, clinical experiences, and areas of curiosity.

Rather than approaching consultation as a prescriptive process, I invite clinicians to explore their work through the same principles of awareness, nonviolence, and responsiveness that inform Constructed Awareness®.

Areas We May Explore

Constructed Awareness® clinical consultation is shaped by your experience, questions, and professional interests. Depending on where you are in your exploration of CA, our conversations may include:

  • Understanding and applying the three principles of Constructed Awareness®

  • Exploring the building blocks of conscious experience: thoughts, bodily sensations, and external senses

  • Recognizing orientations to experience and how they influence the therapeutic process

  • Integrating CA principles into existing therapeutic approaches, including EMDR

  • Exploring resourcing, client responsiveness, and trauma processing

  • Reflecting on clinical challenges through awareness of both the therapist's and client's experiences

  • Deepening confidence and flexibility in the clinical application of CA

Consultation is individualized, allowing our conversations to respond to the questions and experiences you bring.
