Releasing Pain Week Three
This week's homework includes a pendulation exercise with Tyler and a guided mindful movement video with Janka. Also included is a "Daily Routine Exercise" and a button to download a worksheet that has tips for labeling sensation with words that you would use if you were touching it with your hands. Feel free to use the "Using Your Hands" worksheet while practicing with the pendulation exercise.
Daily Routine Exercise
Choose one routine activity every day (for example: brushing your teeth, washing the dishes, sitting behind your desk). While you perform this activity, pay attention to your posture. Is your abdomen relaxed? Your shoulders? Your face? Are you slouching? Are you straining? Are you relaxed? Encourage your mind to stay present, to not race ahead to what is next, to not fret about the past.
